Yukimi Nagano is a Swedish-Japanese singer and musician who is best known as the lead vocalist of the electronic music group Little Dragon. She was born on January 15, 1982, in Gothenburg, Sweden to a Japanese father and a Swedish-American mother.
Nagano formed Little Dragon in 1996 with her high school friends Erik Bodin, Fredrik Källgren Wallin, and Håkan Wirenstrand. The band released their self-titled debut album in 2007 and have since gained international recognition for their unique blend of electronic, pop, and soul music.
Nagano's soulful and ethereal voice has been praised by critics and fans alike, and she has collaborated with a number of other artists and producers, including Gorillaz, SBTRKT, Flume, and Kaytranada.
